How much can I donate per month?
You may donate from $5 to $500 per household with a maximum of $3,000 per year per each charity. Donations can be made to multiple charities simultaneously.
Why doesn't my receipt show my charity?
Your receipt will show the name of the Flanzer Trust, as that is the entity you donated to. You should receive an acknowledgement of the matched contributions (including your contribution and our match) from your requested charity within 5 business days or so. If you did not select a charity when you made your donation to the Flanzer Trust, we will send a follow up email asking your direction.
Can I donate in honor/memory of or designate my donation for a specific program?
Yes, when making the monetary donation there is a text box that allows you enter in honor/memory of someone. If you enter the information here, it goes directly to the organization you have selected.
Can I donate by check?
Yes, you can donate by check. Please make your check payable to “The Louis & Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust” and mail to: 1266 First Street, Suite 1, Sarasota, FL 34236 Note: In the memo line please state what organization you would like your donation directed to.
Can I donate by money order?
Money orders are ineligible for matching as there is no way to confirm that the money order comes from bona fide donors.
